1. What is a rod end bearing?
Rod ends are also known as Heim and Rose joints and they are used in the manufacture of mechanical joints. Rod ends have a threaded rod connected to the bearing.

2. Five things should be considered when selecting rod end bearings
1) Internal thread and external thread
All rod ends are threaded. Threads found on rod. Some rod end bearings have internal threads, while others have external threads. Rod ends with internal threads use hollow rods. The inside of the rod is threaded. Rod ends with external threads feature solid rods. The outside of the rod is threaded.
2) Right-hand thread and left-hand thread
