Installation method of needle roller bearings without inner ring or outer ring

1. During installation, you can first apply a thin layer of grease on the rolling surface of the shaft or housing hole, and place the needle rollers in close contact with the grease at the installation site.

2. There should be a gap when placing the last needle roller. The size of the gap should be 0.5mm on the circumference of the needle roller bearing.

3. Do not force-squeeze the last needle roller in, or install one less needle roller, because when force-squeezing the bearing, the bearing will be stuck and cannot rotate;

3. When installed less, the gap is too large, which can easily cause the needle roller to twist and break when the bearing is running.

Stamped outer ring needle roller bearing installation method

1. Since the outer ring wall is very thin, needle roller bearings should not be installed by hammering them with a hammer, but should be pressed in with a press.

2. Because the pressure is uneven when hammered, it is easy to cause local deformation of the outer ring of the needle roller bearing.

Warm reminder: Needle roller bearings have a large load-bearing capacity and are suitable for supporting structures with limited installation dimensions. The surface of the journal is hardened as a rolling surface, and the bearing is installed into the seat hole with a press-fit fit. There is no need to axially position it. An appropriate amount of grease should be injected into the bearing before installation. Normally, no further lubrication is required after assembly. BK type bearings are used in supports with no protruding end of the journal. The end face is closed for sealing and can withstand small axial movement.
