Everyone knows that German FAG bearings are precision parts, but don't think they are precision parts, just ignore everything. Often this is prone to problems. Just like the German FAG bearing fatigue failure is a surface form of failure, mainly manifested in the process of fatigue crack initiation, expansion and fracture, and the long-term impact of metal failure under alternating loads. Let me tell you about this knowledge!
There are two aspects that lead to cracks:
1. On the surface, this is the effect of the external load caused by the plastic deformation of the working surface and the periodic change of the contact stress on the strain hardened surface during the rolling contact of the German FAG bearing, and finally the small cracks develop from The inner surface, the formation of cracks between the two surfaces, due to the lubricant poured into the working surface, the opening force, hit hard on the wall, forcing the crack to move forward;
2. From the surface layer, under repeated pressure, the contact of the surface produces cracks at a certain depth where the surface is exposed, and at an angle along the direction of the surface, to a certain depth, from behind the surface of the contact surface, and beyond the surface , and formed erosion peeling, leaving a horse pit.
From the surface of FAG imported bearings, or from the cracks in the surface layer, these two goals (parts carburizing, quenching and other surface heat treatment, if there is uneven hardness, organization, and non-uniform internal stress and other adverse effects, then Contact stress is generally generated from under the influence of subsurface cracks, if the part surface quality is poor, there is a defect (oxidation, decarburization), friction or poor lubrication, from surface cracks.
