This year's Canton Fair will be held in three phases, with the first phase (April 15-19) focusing on advanced manufacturing fields such as construction machinery, smart wearables, and drones; The second phase (April 23-27) will focus on showcasing building decoration materials, household items, etc; The third phase (May 1-5) will focus on consumer goods such as textiles, clothing, and food.
For the first time, the exhibition has added 9 new zones for consumer grade drones, smart wearables, and more. Among the over 4.65 million exhibits displayed on site, new products, green products, and independent intellectual property products account for 23%, 22%, and 25% respectively. More than 60% of exhibitors have applied new technologies such as industrial Internet and artificial intelligence in production or service.
As of April 9th, the number of pre registered buyers has exceeded 210000, with professional buyers accounting for over 70% for the first time. 290 top purchasing companies have confirmed their participation, a year-on-year increase of 30%. For the convenience of buyers, this year's Canton Fair has set up seven buyer service centers both inside and outside the venue for the first time, and provided booth level AR real-life navigation services.
As an important foreign trade event at the beginning of the 15th Five Year Plan, this year's Canton Fair attracted over 11000 "specialized, refined, unique, and new" and manufacturing industry champion enterprises to participate. More than 60% of enterprises are transforming from "selling products" to providing "product+service" system solutions.
