Bearings are the core basic components of mechanical equipment, and their quality directly determines the working performance of the main engine. my country's high-end bearings have not yet formed a systematic technical solution in the fields of design and development, processing and manufacturing, test testing, and operation and maintenance, which seriously restricts the application of domestic bearings in high-end equipment.
Under this background, the national key research and development plan "Precision Machine Tool Spindle Bearing Demonstration Application and Industrial Test Platform" project is led by the Institute of Shaft Research and has assembled 12 participating research units including Heke University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Luozhou Shaft. The goal is to improve the overall performance of high-precision, high-reliability precision machine tool spindle bearings. Aiming at the problems of the bearing industry such as poor consistency in batch manufacturing accuracy, low life reliability, and lack of service performance evaluation systems, actively explore the accuracy maintenance under the coupling of multiple factors. With innovative design technology, it finally overcomes the technical problems of mass production of high-precision machine tool spindle bearings, realizes the operation and maintenance of precision spindle bearings under different working conditions, builds an industrial test verification platform, and forms a systematic bearing verification and evaluation system.
It is worth mentioning that the smooth implementation of the project has achieved the batch production of P2 precision machine tool spindle bearings for the first time in China, which has significantly improved the stability, consistency and reliability of the quality of my country's high-end machine tool spindle bearings. The advanced industrial base of high-end bearings and industrial machine tools and the modernization process of the industrial chain have further laid a technical foundation for my country to move from a big bearing country to a powerful bearing country.
